For many business owners, a new blog is the number one priority, the thing “guaranteed” to get them floods of new customers. 

They get the bit between their teeth, bashing out post after post of genuinely valuable content, and it’s great news for Google.

But then the next project crops up. 

And much like a three-week-old satsuma that’s been left in the fruit bowl, an out-of-date blog can quickly look pretty gross. 

“Last updated in April 2018” doesn’t exactly scream “current”.

So does that mean you shouldn’t bother in the first place? Well, maybe. But then again, maybe not…
